The Punic War and the economic changes

Today in class we learned about the Punic War between the Romans and the Carthaginians. It was divided into three parts. The first punic war was naval battles fought for control of the strategically located island of Silcily. The second Punic war was fought on the elephants back. It was so amazing that they were smart to use giants like elephants to threaten the enemy but it is also brutal that hundreds of elephants died in the war. The third war was the shortest, it was tarted by the Romans and they won.
