The plebs and the change in rules.( Julius Caesar)

Today in class we learned about the plebs and how they were being please and satisfied by receiving free food and watching circuses. We also learned  about Julius Caesar. He was a highly successful general, he conquered Gaul. He was friend with some very rich and influential people, which made it easier for him to achieve what he wanted. After he conquered Gaul, he wanted to march across the Rubicon River and conquerer Rome. The aristocrats warned them not to march in but Caesar marched in anyways. That was a history-changing event.
